CBE’s management team was presented with a challenge. The challenge was to best describe CBE’s Purpose and Culture Code in an elevator pitch (less than two minutes). The winner of the challenge not only received a lunch party for his/her entire team, but was also dubbed the new Torchbearer of CBE’s Culture Code.
We were happy to announce the winner of the management challenge was Supervisor Chase Slocum. Chase started at CBE in June of 2013 as a collector in Campus-Based Student Loans (CBSL). He was promoted to Supervisor in April 2015. His hobbies are playing guitar, disc golf and fishing.
Chase and his team were showered with food, decorations and fun prizes on Friday, November 4. In addition, each team member received a torch pin to continue to lead by example each and every day.
We know that knowledge is the point of responsibility. Each one of us at CBE has a responsibility to carry the torch by living out our purpose: making lives better one call at a time, by connecting people to solutions.
